This policy explains how personal data is handled on theremembermovement.com, the home of the Re-Member Movement and its guides, such as Ingrid.
Who is responsible
The Re-Member Movement is run by Newstead Media AB in Sweden, which is the data controller for this website. You can reach us at [email protected] or through the contact page.
What we collect and why
Email signups
When you sign up on this website (for example for Ingrid’s free meditation or our occasional letters), we receive your email address and, if you give it, your first name. We use them only to send you what you signed up for: the item you asked for and occasional letters from the Re-Member Movement or the guide you chose. The legal basis is your consent. Our email lists are meant for people aged 13 and over.
The list is kept on our own server in Sweden. Our emails are delivered by Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France, inside the EU), which receives your email address and first name only to deliver them, and may record whether an email was opened or a link in it was clicked. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can also ask us to delete your address at any time. When you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your data, we stop sending and remove your address.
Contact form
When you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address and message. We use them only to answer you. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering messages. Messages are kept in our email for as long as the conversation needs them.
Server logs and security
Like most websites, our server logs requests, including IP address, time, requested page and browser type, to keep the site secure and working. These logs are deleted after about 14 days. The site is delivered through Cloudflare, which processes connection data to protect the site from attacks and may set a strictly necessary security cookie.
Our signup forms use Cloudflare Turnstile, a quick check that you are a person and not a bot. To do that, Cloudflare looks at technical details about your browser and connection. It is used only to stop spam, never for advertising.
Fonts
The site loads its fonts from Google Fonts. To deliver them, Google receives your IP address and browser details. Google does not get any of the information you type into our forms.
Cookies and statistics
This website does not use advertising cookies, tracking cookies or visitor statistics tools. The only cookies you may receive are the Cloudflare security cookies described above.
The start page also remembers, inside your open browser tab, that you have already done the short breathing intro, so it can offer you a skip button. This note stays in your browser, is never sent to us, and disappears when you close the tab.
Sharing your data
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers we need to run the site and send email, such as Cloudflare, Google Fonts and our email delivery provider Brevo, and only for those purposes. Some of these providers may process data outside the EU/EEA. In that case the transfer is covered by safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
Your rights
You have the right to request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal data, to withdraw your consent, to object to or restrict processing, and to data portability. Email [email protected] and we will respond within one month. You can also lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, IMY) at imy.se.
